selfNotes to a Dear Friend

So…although this current situation may suck for you, clearly that person is not worthy of your time and space. Cutting our emotions off is never an option and any attempt to do so would be treason to our humanity. It will hurt. It will get better. It will take time. We, both of us, are extremely valuable and rare people, not everyone gets the gift of our friendship or love. Spend your love in places that are beneficial to your well being, not someone else’s. Love is expensive. It costs us both physical and mental energy, time, affection, emotion, and occasionally pieces of our heart. However, in the end the scar tissue of life that replaces the void will far outweigh the brokenness. Find your family, find your true friends and you will find yourself.
