Overnight

It is true, that nothing happens overnight, yet even through the days, weeks, or years why is it that we choose to do nothing? We lean to comfort ourselves rather than stand for our happiness. People do not change, time changes, but people can grow while time will always remain a constant. The sooner we accept this, the sooner we have a chance to shed our true light to guide our own way as well as for others. Life is full of many gifts, but not the kind that you open. You can’t touch them, feel them, or hold them. You can’t buy them, create them, or paint them. The true gifts in life are the moments that make your mind race tirelessly, your heart beat recklessly, and your smile never weary.
