Watching Trees Grow

Life and relationships are really quite similar, both equally tough, no doubt. I relate them to the trees of the earth. Life is best when well nourished, watered with happiness, laughter, self-love, family and friendships. Love on the other hand is quite tough, we connect with certain individuals and sometimes shower their tree with so much of our time and energy that our own tree’s growth is stunted. Love is not easily found nor grown, it takes one hand to churn the soil, another hand to lay the seed, two hearts to water it daily, and two souls whose roots run deep. Together, in unity, watch as the tree of love reaches for the sky.
